Hey, people! Just thought I’d give you a little insight into the Legionaire story! Firstly, I’ve always been known locally as a singer (and in very recent years as a bassist) for different Grunge and Metal bands in Trinidad. Don’t get me wrong, while that in itself is great I needed an outlet for another type of musical expression, something pretty much out of the Rock genre.

I’ve been a bit fascinated with Electronic music for a few years and well, Sarina, being the Pop aficionado, has somehow influenced my appreciation of the genre (mainly by drilling Pop drive mixes into my head while driving around lolz), its inherent musicality and above all, the vocal melodies. So Legionaire is essentially Electro Pop and I’m loving everything about being part of this musical entity. I get to write in a completely different way, from a completely different musical perspective but still retain who I am at the core. It’s strange, new and exciting all at the same time!

We’re currently working on the video for our first single “Move On” and it’s coming along nicely! It was a lot of fun going to different locations for the shoot! Though many have done this locally, this was my first time and it was an amazing experience! Apart from that, we’re hard at work writing more material and will keep you guys updated on that front!
